Sunday - You are escorted from Strasbourg to the Princess' mooring near Nancy. Then enjoy a welcome reception and dinner
on board.
Monday - This morning's cruise is on the Canal de la Marne au Rhin. In the afternoon, you'll take a walking tour of Nancy,
starting at the Place Stanislas, one of the grandest squares in France. Visit the Musée Historic, a museum dedicated to the rich
history and culture of Lorraine. The evening's mooring is in Lagarde.
Tuesday -
After a short morning cruise, you'll tour the Crystal Museum and showrooms in Baccarat. Then enjoy a drive to Sarrebourg to visit the
13th century Chapel of the Cordeliers, illuminated by a stunning stained glass window designed by Marc Chagall. Return to the Princess
for a short cruise to the village of Xouaxange.
Wednesday - At the crest of the Vosges Mountains, the Princess arrives at the Incline Plane. This engineering marvel allows
the barge, still surrounded by water, to slide effortlessly down the hillside into the Zorn Valley below. Cruise past quaint mountain
villages to the town of Lutzelbourg.
Thursday - After a morning cruise to the charming village of Saverne, you'll be driven to the historic city of Strasbourg. Tour the magnificent
12th century Cathedral, built of pink Vosges sandstone. Then explore Petite France, the picturesque old quarter of small canals and
half-timbered houses. Tonight you'll enjoy a gourmet dinner ashore at the Michelin two-star restaurant Le Cerf, in Marlenheim.
Friday - Today you'll drive to Mittelbergheim, one of France's most beautiful wine villages. Here you can sample crisp, fruity
varietals as you tour the cellars of a prominent vintner. Then return to the Princess for the cruise to the final mooring in Hochfelden.
Tonight's festive Captain's Dinner is enjoyed on board.
Saturday -
After breakfast, you are escorted via private transfer to your return point hotel in Strasbourg.
