Absoluut2 is a custom built motor yacht originally commissioned as a private luxury cruiser in 1994. Quiet, smooth, and well
appointed, this barge takes boating on the inland waterways to another level. With over 30 years experience in the hospitality
industry and 15 years cruising the waterways of Europe the owners of Absoluut2, John and Ienka Baker, along with the rest of
the highly professional crew will do everything possible to ensure that your every wish is granted and your expectations
exceeded.
The vessel offers comfortable accommodations and superb amenities ensuring that cruising aboard Absoluut2 is a fantastic
way to see the best of the European countryside. Gourmands will also delight in the delicious continental cuisine served on board.
Using only the best and freshest ingredients, the chef combines local delicacies with a splash of original flair.
Adventures abound during your journey, including the opportunity to soar over the countryside in a hot air balloon or to tour
alongside the vessel on a bicycle. Perhaps you prefer to see the sites while soaking in the on-deck hot tub. Whatever your
preference, you'll love the magical vistas to be found around every bend.

Sunday - You will be met at your hotel and driven to Absoluut2 for a champagne welcome on board, after which you'll have time to
explore Épernay before your first gourmet dinner onboard.
Monday - This morning Absoluut2 will cruise through vine-covered hills dotted with small wine villages to the delightful
village of Dammery. After Lunch on deck you'll visit the Abbey of Hautvilliers where the monk Dom Pérignon first made champagne,
and Reims to see the cathedral. You might also go shopping or down into the cellars of Tattinger, Clicquot or Pomerey.
Tuesday - Two unexpected sights await in Verzenay: a windmill and a lighthouse. The latter now houses an engaging Wine Museum
and also commands a sweeping view over a sea of vines. The flamboyantly-fronted church of Avenay-Val-d'Or and the little town of Ay,
which has cultivated the vine since Gallo-Roman times, are both on the morning drive. Then enjoy an afternoon cruise to
Château Thierry, the scene of American battles in World War I.
Wednesday - Today you may choose an optional visit to Hill 204 and Belleau Wood battlefield. This is followed by a scenic cruise
to La Ferte, with its delightful riverside walks and its imposing 17th century buildings.

Pomery Mustard de Meaux.
Friday - This morning you'll visit the magnificent Château Vaux-le-Vicomte, with gardens by "Le Notre," an inspiration for
Versailles and set for "The Man in the Iron Mask." After your tour, you'll rejoin the barge for a cruise through a tunnel and into the
center of Paris. Here you'll cruise under 30 of her bridges and past Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. In Paris you'll enjoy a farewell
dinner on board.
