Overview

La Nouvelle Etoile sets the standards in the barging world for luxury, sophistication, and modern amenities. With spacious suites, hand-crafted teakwood furnishings, and extras like Internet access, an on-board hot tub, and exercise facilities, it's easy to see why La Nouvelle Etoile is a favorite among seasoned and novice barge travelers alike.

La Nouvelle Etoile offers an enormous amount of spacious comfort to her guests by limiting guests to just 8 where other barges of the same size might book double the number of guests or more. Therefore, you'll never feel cramped and you'll love the personalized service provided by the crew, as well.

Jan and Diana Meijer, the owners of La Nouvelle Etoile, work hard to ensure your every need and wish will be anticipated while on board. Meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout - from the custom made dining table set with Wedgwood china and Christofle silver in the dining area to the selection of fine linens, and fresh flowers and fruit found in each suite. The warm furnishings invite you to relax and enjoy your time inside the vessel, and the comfortable patio furniture on the deck creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying the sun and the breathtaking passing scenery.
