Overview
With an uncompromising attention to detail and an
interior decorated by some of the most respected names
in France and Italy, Amaryllis is one of the most
luxurious barges cruising the waterways of France. Built
in 1962, she was converted into the upscale hotel barge
in 2001 and welcomed her first passengers in 2002.
Amaryllis is wholly-owned by the luxury travel company
Orient-Express.
As Amaryllis cruises along some
of the most picturesque waterways found in the world,
you'll enjoy lounging in her spacious salon or relaxing
in her heated sundeck swimming pool. Large, panoramic
windows ensure that you won't miss any of the passing
scenery. Her traditionally decorated interior is warm
and inviting featuring contemporary and antique European
furnishings.
The spacious comfort found aboard
Amaryllis is complemented by her attentive staff ready
to ensure that your barge holiday is unforgettable. The
cuisine is second-to-none and made from the freshest
local ingredients.
