The charming Litote features traditional French decor, unpretentious accommodations, and a sheltered central sundeck perfect
for relaxing as the countryside floats by.
The 20-passenger vessel cruises a popular section of the Canal de Bourgogne with plenty of opportunities for walking and
biking along the canal. The route also offers an abundance of interesting shore excursions in a region well known for
fine wines and hearty cuisine.

La Litote offers 10 comfortable cabins on two decks. The upper deck features two twin cabins and two double cabins with large picture
windows. The lower deck has four twin and two double cabins.
All cabins on La Litote feature private en-suite baths as well as storage space for your personal belongings.

Saturday - For your voyage on the Litote, you can choose an optional transfer from Paris via TGV train to Dijon or arrange
for your own transportation into Dijon. In either case, you'll be met at the Dijon train station and then driven to Litote moored
in the sleepy village of Vandenesse-en-Auxois. Sip champagne as you are welcomed aboard and introduced to your crew, then enjoy
your first gourmet dinner on board this evening.
Sunday - Begin the day with a morning excursion to the 15th-century Château de Commarin, still privately owned and
operated by the same family, the château is notable for its beautiful furnishings and a unique collection of Renaissance
heraldic tapestries. Continue the short distance to Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, a medieval village with majestic views of
the valley and canal below. A sumptuous lunch is followed by a peaceful cruise along the Canal de Bourgogne to the picturesque
village of Pont d'Ouche. This is an excellent day for pleasant walking and cycling along the towpath.
Monday - This morning you'll enjoy a drive to Meursault, one of Burgundy's many famous wine growing areas, for a private
cellar visit and a chance to sample some of the most prestigious wines of this area. You'll return to Litote in time for a
delicious gourmet lunch and begin cruising through one of the most attractive stretches of the Canal de Bourgogne to
La Bussière. Litote will moor a short distance from the Abbey which is well worth a visit.
Tuesday - Today is market day in Dijon, and after a guided visit of the city's historic center, you are free to explore
the delights of this typical, picturesque, covered, French market. Return to Litote for a late lunch and lazy afternoon with
cruising to Gissey-sur-Ouche.
Wednesday - This morning, Litote will cruise through some delightful villages with lots of opportunities to walk or cycle
along the towpaths which will bring you to Pont de Pany. After another wonderful lunch, you'll take off for a visit to Beaune,
wine capital of Burgundy and home to the magnificent Hôtel-Dieu, a charity hospital founded in 1443. This monument boasts
the finest Burgundian-Flemish architecture in the world. Afterward, return to Litote, moored in the small village of
Fleurey-sur-Ouche.
Thursday - This morning Litote cruises towards Dijon, passing alongside Lake Kir as she approaches the port of Dijon.
In the afternoon, a visit to Clos de Vougeot is in order. Wine was produced here as early as the 12th century by the local
monks. A private wine tasting follows before you return to Litote for the farewell gala dinner.
Friday - After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the Dijon railroad station.
